Great location. I had no idea that 1/4 of the store is devoted to kid toys. Clean store, friendly helpful staff. Amazing books, what more could you ask for?

I'm not a big reader, but found myself needing to buy a specific book on health. I dropped in at the Tempe Marketplace Barnes & Noble to see if they had it. The store was huge! I asked the lady at the register how I could find the book. She put the name of the book into her computer, confirmed they had it and started to walk me to where it was. She then communicated to a coworker what was needed and she had him get it for me. My total time in the store was about four minutes! Incredible service!!! I secretly had a little fear of wasting 30 minutes looking through thousands of books to find what I needed I highly recommend this store as they demonstrated a level of customer service that is hard to find these days.

First time I've been here. I needed help finding a book and the employee who helped me was great! She helped me find the book, made some recommendations based on the book I came for, told me about a book club that meets at the store. I left with 3 books and a bookbag! I'll definitely go again!

I really loved how nicely the kid area is set up, we took my 4 year old grandson there for a gift after graduating preschool.

Love the spot such a hidden gem. I appreciate it and it’s attached to a Starbucks Café used to come here growing up, still super amazingly, clean friendly and has the latest launches of books !! Magnificent. This location also has a kids pen so you can read while the kiddos play and read too. They often have events of you check

Always a great place to go whether you need to pick something up quick or if you need to stay awhile and search through some things. I never feel rushed away coming in here (which can be a good...or not so good thing:) The employees are always helpful and knowledgeable! Love that some homeschool books are sold her as well.

Nice Barnes & Noble. It's a big store and I feel like the old setup/placement of rows made it easier to find the section(s) your looking for. Now it is a little confusing, but the new setup gives more privacy to each genre. *in my opinion* Barnes & Noble is always great though, this one gets 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Great bookstore with a very friendly staff. I've had really good experiences here, it's a clean store with very well organized sections. Anytime I have needed help finding a book the staff has always helped me find exactly what I'm looking for and if they don't have it in stock, they have ordered it for me and had it delivered for me to pick-up.

I’ve been a Barnes & Noble member for almost eight years, and this Goodyear location remains my absolute favorite bookstore. Every visit feels like a small retreat: I grab a coffee, find a cozy nook, and settle in for a couple of peaceful hours of reading and studying. The store is always immaculately clean and well organized, with plenty of comfortable seating areas, quiet corners to read, and generous parking right out front. The restrooms are spotless, the atmosphere is calm, and the staff genuinely care about helping you find what you need. A heartfelt shout-out to Ms. Judith — she was such a warm, humble, and thoughtful presence during my visit. We had a wonderful, meaningful conversation about faith and sisterhood in Christ, and she helped me pick the perfect books. I also met Ms. Destiny, who was incredibly helpful when I needed recommendations for pens and art supplies. The staff here are knowledgeable, friendly, and make the whole bookstore experience feel personal and welcoming. This store truly carries everything.
